auto trans it is mounted drivers side (left) bolted to trans where shift cable is mounted follow the shaft going into trans and switch is bolted to trans with shaft through middle of it most time switch is not bad it is just out of adjustment from worn linkage connections .loosen bolts on switch and rotate switch until it starts in park switch is adjustable make sure you chock wheels front and rear with e-brake on for your safety

your torque converter solenoid is located in the valve body of the transmission.

you have to drop the pan on the tranny but you really better know what your doing or you can do alot of damage

The solenoid is inside the transmission, on the valve body. The circuit would include the computer, solenoid and wires in between.

There is no relay. The solenoid is inside the transmission on the valve body.
