Tiësto primarily uses digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Ableton Live and Logic Pro for remixing and music production. These platforms offer a wide range of tools for editing, arranging, and mixing tracks, allowing him to create his signature sound. Additionally, he may use various plugins and virtual instruments to enhance his productions further.
This question has been asked many times, but there aren't many solid answers. In his long career Tiesto has more than likely had experience with all the major DAWs (Logic, Ableton, Cubase, FL Studio, etc). However, the reason Tiesto himself doesn't talk much about gear and software is because for the latter part of his career he has been using a ghost producer (see this article http://news.beatport.com/blog/2012/04/30/at-the-controls-dennis-waakop-reijers/). Aside from that, this is a pretty good resource to see some of the stuff Tiesto uses for music production & DJing http://equipboard.com/pros/tiesto

His Cat's name was Tiesto, she died and he carried on the name through his DJ career.
No it is not. Traktor is meant to be a live performance tool, not a mixing tool. If you mean remixing, it is on of the better live remixing tools, but if you are going for mixing/remixing, I would highly recommend: Ableton Live, Logic, Fruity Loops, or Cubase.
You Have to have the Write Stuff on your Computer But Once you get the software it should be as simple as following instructions or Getting the video (And Remixing it).

Remixing originated in the late 1960s and 1970s, particularly within the music industry, when DJs began isolating and reconfiguring elements of existing tracks to create new versions. The practice gained popularity in the hip-hop and dance music scenes, where artists would sample beats and melodies to craft innovative sounds. Advances in technology, such as digital audio software, further facilitated remixing by allowing easier manipulation of audio tracks. Today, remixing is a widespread art form across various genres, blending creativity with collaboration.
