Most styles that don't usually have drums can have them and usually still be considered whatever style they would be without. The same goes for vise-versa
Genre's that almost always have drums include Swing, Rock, Pop, Metal, and all of there sub-genres
Jazz has drums most of the time, but not always, and Blues has drums around half of the time. Most other genre's that come to my mind (not saying most in the world) usually don't but *points to first paragraph*

Yes. Drum kits and drum sets are the same thing but you can change the kit or set around so that it will be different. E.g swap crash cymbals around.
