Lennon was pronounced dead on arrival in the emergency room at the Roosevelt Hospital at 11:15 pm by Dr Stephen Lynn.
I would say there were a lot of people that died on 8 December, 1980 but, I'm sure the one you mean is John Lennon. Born on 9th October, 1940, John Winston Ono Lennon was one of the founding members of The Beatles, had a solo career and co-wrote many of the songs he sang. He was fatally shot for times in the back on 8 December 1980 in the entrance of the Dakota by Mark David Chapman. Upon arrival at Roosevelt Hospital, he was pronounced dead in the Emergency Room at 11:15 pm.
Most likely Paul because of their songwriting. Yet, John and Paul seldom, if ever, roomed together on tour. John mainly shared a room with George in the early days, then Ringo on later tours.
On the evening of Monday, December 8, 1980, 40-year-old John Lennon was shot four times in the back (the fifth shot missed) in the entrance hallway of the Dakota, with hollow-point bullets from a Charter Arms .38 revolver, by Mark David Chapman. Lennon had autographed a copy of Double Fantasy for Chapman earlier that same night. Two bullets struck Lennon in the lower back and two more in his left shoulder. All four wounds caused serious internal damage, and at least one of them pierced in Lennon's aorta. Lennon staggered up the four steps to the security/reception area and said "I'm shot" and collapsed. Concierge John Hastings at first thought it was a joke, but then summoned the police by hitting the silent alarm button.Lennon was pronounced dead on arrival in the Emergency Room at the Roosevelt Hospital at 11:15 p.m. The cause of death was reported as hypovolemic shock, after losing more than 80% of blood volume. On the following day, December 9, 1980, Lennon's wife Yoko Ono issued a statement: "There is no funeral for John. John loved and prayed for the human race. Please do the same for him. Love, Yoko and Sean." Instead of a funeral, ten minutes of silence was observed worldwide the following Sunday, December 14, at 2 p.m. ET.Chapman later pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 20 years to life. He is still in prison, 27 years since his arrest, having been denied parole five times. (He became known to the surviving Beatles and their friends as "He whose name shall not be mentioned.")Two days after his death, Lennon's body was cremated at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York. The ashes have been said to be sprinkled around Strawberry Fields, as well as in personal possession by Yoko Ono. Yoko Ono kept his bloodstained glasses after he died.
AFAIK, Michael Jackson owns the rights jointly with Sony. This is true for most of the Beatles' songs.

She died trapped in a fire in the hospital lab room.

yes she does... her bed room is themed as john Lennon, she has pictures of him everywhere, she only thinks about him, she only listens to his music, if she is on the internet is usually has something to do with him, she never stops thinking about him, her friends tell her that her connection to john Lennon is unhealthy, but she doesnt care... she is even seeing a counselor to try to treat these problumes... she is really obsessed... :)
There was no room number. Michael Jackson was in his bedroom at his mansion when he lost his conciousness, and later at the hospital, he died.
He was shot in Dallas, Texas, United States of America, in Dealey Plaza. However, he died in Trauma Room 1 at the Parkland Hospital, also in Dallas.

John Quincy Adams who was elected to the House of Representative after he was president was stricken with a massive stroke while the House was in session and died two days later in the Speaker's room just off the House Floor. (Apparently they were afraid to move him to a hospital.)
This could easily happen if the person lived in a small town with only one hospital, or lived near a large hospital all his life. I think I got it. The person was born in the year 1960, in the emergency room. Thirty years later, in the year 1990, this same person died in the same hospital, in room number 1980.
