Delta Blues, often called the original blues. This includes Robert Johnson, Leadbelly, and Son House. Chicago Blues, which is basically the delta blues but electric. Muddy Waters is considered the first, but there is also Howlin' Wolf and Little Walters solo stuff is quite good. Texas Blues, Memphis Blues, Detroit Blues and then Blues Rock that originated in the 1960's.
The Blues Brothers were created by Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi for a Saturday Night Live sketch. Including the 'Brothers', there were 14 original members. Only 10 of these member appeared in the Blues Brothers movie.
That song is called "Say Hey" by "Beason Street Studios"... which is a remake of the original. The original song is done by "Message of the Blues" and it's called "L.A."

Josh White was a guitarist/singer/activist who was called the "Singing Christian" in his youth, but was best know as a folk singer and bluesman. As a kid he earned wages helping blind bluesmen get from town to town in the South. He picked up some skills and went off on his own as a teenager. His biography "Society Blues" talks about it.
Robert Johnson. I've never heard of any other documented stories of this account. Bluesmen who've mentioned the devil in their music though, include Son House, Skip James, Blind Willie, among others.
