∙ 14y agoThe song 'Need You Now' by the country group Lady Antebellum is basically about two people that obviously care about each other, but for some reason are apart. They can't seem to get each other out of their minds ("And I wonder if I ever cross your mind? For me it happens all the time"), and are in pain because of it ("Guess I'd rather hurt than feel nothing at all"). They are singing about how they are apart, but due to alcohol consumption ("Another shot of whiskey, can't stop looking at the door" and "It's a quarter after one, I'm a little drunk and I need you now"), they no longer care about whatever previously happened and they simply need each other desperately ("And I don't know how I can do without; I just need you now").
