Didn't turn out so well though.... now all he has is me, his favorite tootsie-wootsie, and a pair of itchy balls.
Of course i'd have to say the Stray Cats are the most commercially successful and a great rockabilly band. with that said, you cant talk about rockabilly without a nod to Carl Perkins, the father of rockabilly. The stray cats are very good but the best rockabilly band in the past present and future is FRACTURED go Paul Everdell!

Hollywood California rockabilly band they were energetic talented and popular in the Hollywood rockabilly scene of the early eightys I lived around there and hung out at program studios with them great guys and the best Hollywood style rockabilly ever they had a saxophone player named tony who played with them troy is an animal on the drums marshal used to play stray cats stuff as soon as he heard it once on the guitar Jeff was born for stand up bass and jimmy was charismatic popular with the huge bevy of females who followed all the gigs he could play sing and dance like a maniac as well. Jimmy now lives in Austin Texas and has reformed the group. He is working on a new album and is playing live shows around Austin.

The Stray Cats was a rockabilly band from the early to mid 80's. They hit the charts with several hits, including The Stray Cat Strut, as well as We're Gonna Rock This Town before the band dispersed and their lead singer, Brian Seltzer, hit the road solo.
