Elvis Presley was a southern boy, so of course he looked up to his mother. But later in life, as a celebrity, he looked up to Clint Eastwood and was a huge fan of the Dirty Harry movies. He also looked up to his father Vernon. When Elvis started touring, Vernon was with him at all times. And as could be heard in his many gospel songs, he often argued about his title as King. He said there was only one King, and that was God.
