She started singing in local bars in her hometown, but then she moved and started doing demos to famous songs. She then gave them over to record labels but got rejected because she had a young voice and she wasnt original enough. So she learnt how to play the guitar and then started making her own songs and got a record deal at the age of 15 and got her own album at 16 named 'taylor swift'.
