Elvis is known as The King of Rock & Roll. Born in 1935 in Tupelo, MS. Family moved to Memphis in 1948. First recorded at Sun Studios, the same studio where artists such as Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison got their start. His breakthrough hit was Heartbreak Hotel which topped the charts in March 1956. He went on to have an incredible 114 songs in the American Top 40. He died at his home (Graceland) of heart failure in August, 1977.
