Singer and actor Omarion was born Omari Ishmael Grandberry on November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California. At the age of 5 years old he started performing. In 2001, Omarionis one of the members of the R&B group B2K. They recorded their debut album B2K in 2002 and later that year released their second album Pandemonium!. In 2004, the R&B group appeared on the film You Got Served and later on separated.

In 2005, Omarion released his solo debut album, O, and went gold. The album went straight to #1 on the Billboard 200. It had several hit singles such as "O" and "Touch". He also appeared on Bow Wow's "Let Me Hold You". In 2006, the singer released his follow-up album, 21. He also appeared on a number of films / shows such as: Bernie Mac Show, Fat Albert, The Proud Family Movie, Cuts, Somebody Help Me, Feel the Noise.
