Reviews for Sheer Zed...
Cosmictones.com. "What happens when Trent Reznor and Nick Cave get together and travel back in time to 1980 pick up Ian Curtis and head to a Visage show? Sheer Zed, that's what! "Music for Your Head" is a collection of 16 diverse sound nuggets… drops of electronica, spoken word and acoustic guitar induce a sense of dizziness that leaves you wondering if the sound is coming from the CD or from somewhere inside your own head as the result of some sort of sonic schizophrenia…all the tracks are strong."
Cool & Strange Music Magazine. "Sheer Zed is like The Residents and those '80s English artsy psych dark synth bands - with touches of eastern religion. And a hint of Sly Stone funk on one cut. It's a textured mix. It doesn't suck".
TooMuchCoffeeMan Magazine. "I can't even begin to describe this...some of it sounds like old retarded British men on quaaludes. Some of it sounds like Manhattan Transfer being violently shaken. Every now and then things gel into melodies and harmonies, but I can't tell if it's accidental or not".
The Rise and Fall Magazine. "Space cadet Sheer Zed is a one man band on this experimental project. Tons of effects, keyboards and weird s**t to keep you interested if not annoyed. The vocals could be very disturbing at times to go along with the spacey words. Peace...love...mantra and morphing? You got it!"
Robin Scott. (AKA "M" of the number one hit single "Pop Musik") "A kindred spirit of artistic convergence deserving exposure too! The track "Sticky Glyph" is atmospheric...the drawings are great. You're very gifted!"
Zeke Manyika. (AKA drummer from Orange Juice and world class session musician) "A genius poet and comedian. God knows what other hidden talents!"
Dave Kinnion, Songwizard.com. "You are hugely talented. You do things music-wise that I would never think of in a million years. Your freshness, candor and insight are truly remarkable."
David Melville, independentshakespeare.com. "Great melodies...coupled with some weird s**t...and some of it just makes me laugh my a**e off!"
Alternative blueprint.com. "Great tunes! I cannot wait for them to be more widely available."
Time Out. "Sheer Zed is an eccentric indie-popster."
Yes, Michael Jackson had a cameo as an alien in MIB2 who desired to be an agent, but wasnt granted that wish. Contrary to the imdb actor/character list Micheal Jackson did not play agent M, but rather an alien who helps the agency in the hope he gets to be an agent in return. Cameo 1: MJ: "Zed, the Drolecks are gone and the treaty is signed". Zed: "Good work". MJ: "Zed, what about that position you promised me in MIB?". Zed:"Still working on the Alien Affirmative Action Program". "I'll keep you posted". MJ: "Wait a minute!" "That's not what you promised me". Zed: "You're breaking up, can't hear you". MJ: "Zed!" "Hello?" "Zed?" Zed: "I'll call you back" MJ: "I could be Agent M!" Zed then disconnects the video call with MJ. ----------------------------------------------- cameo 2: Later on zed gives a predialed phone to the main villain opponent. it turns lout zed dialed the MJ character to get the villain off guard. next you hear MJ surprised on the phone. MJ: zed zed is that you, i could be agend m , zed hello?? Zed uses this moment to fight the villain alien taken by surprise. -----------------------------------------------
Z, the twenty-sixth and last letter of the English alphabet, is a vocal consonant. It is taken from the Latin letter Z, which came from the Greek alphabet, this having it from a Semitic source. The ultimate origin is probably Egyptian. Etymologically, it is most closely related to s, y, and j; as in glass, glaze; E. yoke, Gr. /, L. yugum; E. zealous, jealous. See Guide to Pronunciation, // 273, 274.

If you mean "Chord Zed," the "Z chord" or "the scrub", the key is you don't press. Rest your fingers gently on the string to dampen the vibration. You don't want the strings to touch the frets at all.
Yes they do.
