"The Bicycling Guitarist" is the stage name of Chris Watson since the early 1980s. He is so-called because he rides a Schwinn ten-speed bicycle while playing a Fender Stratocaster guitar. He did this for tens of thousands of miles in Solano and Sonoma Counties of northern California, USA in the 1980s and 1990s. He moved to Oregon in 2006. His first web site was from 1997 to 2001 at a domain that was swallowed up. Since 2001 his web site has been http://www.TheBicyclingGuitarist.net/ About.com did two feature articles on him.
