Vonrenzo is a New York City-based band, led by singer/songwriter Adam Luaces. Accompanied by guitarist/bassist Nathan Brimmer, lead guitarist Pete Pidgeon, and cellist Colette Alexander (all of whom perform vocals(, the group's stylings have been compared to those of Wilco, Jeff Buckley, Chris Issak and Coldplay.
The group has produced two albums: Intention and the Adequacy of Delusion (2006); and Indica Dove Sei (2009). Out of thousands of entried, the latest album won a spot on the Oases CD Sampler, distributed to radio stations nationwide. Featured is It Has Been Awhile, which is one of Vonrenzo's signature tunes. The label, which was formed in 2007, recently signed Michelle Cruz ("The Recovery") to a 5-album deal. Luaces is also the frontman of the band Vonrenzo, which released Intention And The Adequacy Of Delusion in 2006 and Indica Dove Sei in 2009.
Nathan Brimmer is CEO of Nevaeh Recordings, LLC, an independent record label based out of New York City. The label, which was formed in 2007, recently signed Michelle Cruz ("The Recovery") to a 5-album deal. He is also a member of the band Vonrenzo, which released Intention And The Adequacy Of Delusion in 2006 and Indica Dove Sei in 2009. Brimmer is also emcee for New York City's annual "An Evening With Jeff Buckley," a tribute show held at Arlene's Grocery on or around the late Jeff Buckley's birthday in mid-November.
