I am a huge SOAD fan, and I also enjoy SOB, but i am still more partial to Serj's work simply because I feel like SOB is simply a continuation of SOAD's last two albums as where Serj has more so branched off and is doing a new style. Also, a problem with SOB music is that it is so aggressive, that in order for me to listen to it I need to be in the mood for it, not that many tracks on Elect the Dead are not a bit aggressive, but as I have said before, I feel like this is Daron and John not wanting to let go of System's old style. Also I have noted that Daron always seems to be much tenser in any kind of interview or live show I have seen him in. Maybe this is simply a new front he wants to put up for SOB?
He's working on his own band, Scars on Broadway.
he was in system of a down but they split up and now hes in scars on Broadway
Scars on Broadway. Well, not too easy to figure out what the question is regarding.
Currently there are two separate projects made by the former members of System of a Down- Scars on Broadway (S.o.B) which is run by Daron Malakian (former S.O.A.D guitarist/vocalist) and John Dolmayan (S.O.A.D drummer), and Serj Tankian's solo albums. I highly recommend that you check out Scars on Broadway as it has so much of the classical System of a Down feeling (the lyrics, beat and guitar will be a dead giveaway.) On another note, you may want to check out Vampires on Tomato Juice, as well as the project artist No-one on Youtube. They have made themselves sound a lot like System of a Down, and I'm sure you will enjoy.
This song basically is talking about sex, drugs, and rock n' roll.
He was in System of a Down from 1994-2006. And was in Scars on Broadway only in 2008. System of a Down is on hiatus, and Scars on Broadway has broken up.
