I just watched that video this morning and have been googling for an hour, the girl in the Tom Petty video is legendary lady skater/snowboarder Cara Beth Burnside.
The cute girl in the video was not Cara Beth Burnside. As said in her interview Rob Brink. She quotes, "figures they would have a girl in spandex that can't even skateboard." Full interview on RobBrink.com.
