There are more Russian composers than people think! Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Prokofiev, Khachaturian (more Armenian than Russian) and Nekrasov ought to be a start for you. More recently, there is Alexander Tcherepnin.
Plus Cui, Borodin, Shostakovich, Rachmaninov.

∙ 14y agoI'm really not an expert, but I think that two of the major Russian composers were Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Sergei Vasilievich Rachmaninoff.
