Richard William Wright b.1943 played the keyboards for Pink Floyd for every album except for much of 'The Wall' due do his firing from the band by Roger Waters during the recording of the album. He was also absent for Waters last Pink Floyd album 'The Final Cut'. Wright, along with David Gilmour and Nick Mason reunited as Pink Floyd in 1987. Rick Wright succumbed to cancer on September 15,2008.
