The real Angel of Music in Phantom of the Opera is the Phantom (Erik). Christine calls him, "My Angel of Music." However, it can be interpreted that Christine's father, Gustave Daae, is the true Angel of Music since Erik in a way represents a father figure that Christine never had.

She grows up and discovers that she is hearing a voice, telling her and teaching her to sing. She believes he is the angel of music but infact he is a disfigured genius, The phantom. He falls in love with her whilst. Although she is fasinated and drawn towards the phantom, she falls in love with her childhood sweetheart, The vicomte de changy- or Raoul. The phantom gets madly jealous, kidknapps Christine, and threatens to kill Raoul. She, to save Raoul, agrees to marry the phantom and kisses him. He then realizes what he's done and then makes Christine go with Raoul, disappearing forever.

There is only one that was filmed at the Opera Garnier. It is called The Phantom of the Opera :), and stars Charles Dance as Erik, and Teri Polo as Christine. I would highly recommend watching it; it is a lovely film, and an interesting take on the Phantom's story.
