"I Remember You" was on the self-titled album by the band called Skid Row. Their album was also titled, Skid Row.

His name is Patrick Sullivan and he was the singer of a band called Forgotten Child. His friend that was killed in the video was his drummer and band mate Bernie. Forgotten Child was also the name of another Skid Row song. Not sure what happened to him after they disbanded in the 90's.

Skid Row members, Rachel Bolan and Dave Sabo wrote and recorded "I Remember You" in 1989. The song was re-recorded in 2003 by Skid Row featuring their new singer, Johnny Solinger. The Ataris also recorded the song for the "Punk Goes Metal" compilation in 2000, and samples of the original with Sebastian Bach were used in the recording.
