For some reason everyone thinks the black guard Tele was 53 it was really a late 52, it was given to him by his band in 53 and think that is where the mix up comes in. The other black guard Tele that he had was a 50 Broardcaster which was sold at Christies to Keith Urban for about 100K a few years ago. Hope this help clear this up.
