I know this is probably not correct but the name Elizabeth McGovern rings a bell. This hopefully might trigger a more accurate response from someone who knows! This track was played regularly on BBC Radio 2 in the late 1970's and I always cranked up the volume when it was on. 'Shame I didn't buy the record. Ok - after an hour of thinking about something else, it has finally come to me. MAUREEN McGovern is the name of the artist with the velvety voice and it was a top 20 hit in the UK (no thanks to me) in 1976.
