For a while it was rumoured that their ex-bassist Glen Matlock was brought in as a session musician but this has been refuted by both Matlock and engineer Bill Price. It is generally regarded that guitarist Steve Jones overdubbed the bass parts after the initial guitar / drum tracks were recorded. Sid Vicious is rumoured to have attempted bass parts for the songs "Bodies" and "Submission" but was unable to play to a satisfactory standard. It is rumoured that his bass part is hidden deep in the mix on the album version of "Bodies" and on the alternate take of "Submission" featured on the Box Set. On both tracks Steve Jones bass parts are the only prominent ones to be heard.
Sid Vicious's real name is John Ritchie. Since he lived with a few other Johnnys, it was inevitable that he would get a nickname. Sid doesn't stand for anything. It was a name given to him by his roommates, one of them being Johnny 'Rotten' Lydon. Rotten had a hampster that was really cute named Sid, and one day it attacked his finger; he cried out "Sid is so vicious!" Some time later, Ritchie- who was known amongst his friends for being quiet and rather calm- got in a fight with a Bouncer and was kicked out of a bar. His friends were so surprised that quiet Johnny Ritchie spazzed out that they renamed his Sid Vicious. He took it as his stage name when the Sex Pistols formed.

The Sex Pistols formed in 1975 in London, England. The band's lineup included vocalist Johnny Rotten, guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook, and bassist Glen Matlock, who was later replaced by Sid Vicious. They became one of the most iconic bands of the punk rock movement, known for their rebellious attitude and provocative music. Their debut album, "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols," was released in 1977.
Sid Vicious, the bassist for the Sex Pistols, was not known to have been raped in prison. He spent a brief time in jail for the murder of his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, but there are no credible reports or evidence indicating that he was sexually assaulted during his incarceration. Vicious's life was marked by substance abuse and turmoil, ultimately leading to his death in 1979.

Sid Vicious, the infamous bassist of the Sex Pistols, was not known for his athletic prowess or weightlifting abilities. There are no documented records of his bench press or any specific weightlifting feats. His persona was more centered around his punk rock lifestyle and rebellious image rather than athletic achievements.
This really depends one two things: 1). how much the owner plans to sell it for and 2). how much the potential buyer is willing to pay for. I think it may be worth a bit, (upwards $200), because a nice poster or Sid Vicious is a cool piece of memorabilia to have, (especially if your a Sex Pistols fan!)
