Beethoven
Rather unromantically, the Fifth Symphony was written purely for fiscal reasons, i.e. Beethoven needed money. Count Franz von Oppersdorf commissioned a symphony in February of 1807 and paid Beethoven 200 florins up front to make sure he completed it.
Not really... although the terms are generally used synonomously, these days. An orchestra is defined as an ensemble of different families of instruments. So, that could include concert bands, big bands and the jazz orchestra (big band, 2 horns and strings), among others. A symphony is a specific musical form, usually played by a (fairly) specific ensemble. So, the term "symphony orchestra" is literally an ensemble capable of playing that kind of piece... thus the modern symphony orchestra. Generally, the term "symphony orchestra" is more specific, when talking about the classical ensemble.
At the begininning of the Classical movement there were three, but our good friend Mozart (I believe) added a new third (usually consisting of a minuet or rondo - a dance movement at any rate) and thus there were four. Generally, first movement fast tempo, second slow, third dance and fourth fast. Of course, Beethoven added VOICES to the fourth movement, i.e., Ode to Joy as the fourth movement in his 9th symphony.
He wrote 9 symphonies, the most famous being the 8th, or 'unfinished' symphony, which was actually completed after the 9th or the 'Great', which is the other most famous of his symphonies.Correction: He wrote the "unfinished" before the "Great" - and never finished it. He began a third movement, but went on to other projects. The symphony was discovered many years after his death. There are also many who claim Schubert wrote only 7 completed Symphonies + the "unfinished." The Great C Major used to be listed as #7 until they realized it was written after the b minor (the 8th.) And so they renumbered it #9. So now there's no #7. (In fact, there are Schubert symphony sets which list the "unfinished" as #7 and the C Major as #8!)Believe it or not, Schubert wrote over 600 songs.

Beethoven's 5th Symphony was his most famous composition in classical music. The 5th Symphony is noted for a particular musical phrase that is identical to Morse code for the letter V. Thus, it became more popular at the end of WW2 when it became used as a victory chant.
A symphony is a large piece of music written for an orchestra (like the New York Philharmonic or the Boston Symphony Orchestra). They started with Haydn during the Classical period, and are still written today. They consist usually of 3 main movements, or sections each lasting several minutes. (the number does vary depending on composer -- Olivier Messiaen wrote one that is 10 movements long!). See the related link 'Wikipedia - Symphony' below for further information. Symphony is also a greek word which means "agreement" It comes from two words:Syn=Add and phoni=voice thus you have "added voices" equals agreed voices...

The myth typically showcases characters attempting to defy their predestined outcomes but ultimately fulfilling them despite their efforts, thus highlighting the idea that fate is inexorable and cannot be avoided. Through various twists and turns in the story, the characters find themselves inadvertently fulfilling the very fate they sought to escape, reinforcing the notion that destiny is unavoidable.
