Legend has it that this song was written by a pastor in or around Macon, Georgia who later turned away from God and ended up drinking himself to death. I know an elderly lady who has been singing this song in a small country church for 50 years or more. She along with many others have been researching this song for many many years and have stated that there is no known music to this song and no one knows the name of the pastor who supposedly wrote it. It is a shame because this is one of the greatest songs ever written. Maybe one day, we will know the writers name.
I'm not sure when this question or answer was posted but I know the name of the writer. His name was Luther E. Richardson. He wrote the song around 1965. He was my father and passed away 24 years ago. It is not true that he drank himself to death but he did battle with the bottle off and on for many years. He wasn't a preacher but was a singer and traveled to tent revivals around Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. He was very involved with the church and continued to sing this song until his death. He also wrote several other songs but would not take credit for them because he felt he was not showing that he was humble before the lord. He never wrote the music to any of these songs due to having no formal music education. My brother and I continue to carry on his legacy by keeping this song alive. My brother is a Pentecostal minister in Central Florida and sings the song often. I live in North Florida and sing the song for members of the family at get-togethers. I hope this answers any questions. I will be happy to provide lyrics to anyone interested. The song is written in the key of G and is a simple 3 chord progression, G, C, & D.
Doberman can shed a lot... it mostly depends of the kind of food they are eating. They do have short hair which makes their shedded hair less noticeable than those of let say a husky. But just because they have short hair does not mean they don't shed. There are a few breeds of dogs that don't shed at all, such as the poodle.
No. Scorpions do not shed, based on their shape and size. It's science, people.
They shed very little, and only in hot months. Their hair is very short so it is hard to notice it even when they do shed a little.
In a shed

No, you would have to play the ball as it lies or take a penalty drop.
Skin cells simply drop off
According to tradition, blood flowed out followed by water, giving the traditional Christian belief that Jesus shed his last drop of blood for us.
Mealworms shed to grow bigger, just like how snakes do. Even humans shed skin its just in little patches.

Well... in the lumber shed behind your house if you press (A) you will get a peice of wood called a 'stake' and you collect these and just drop them where you need a fence.
Drag someone on top of the sandbox and they will pick up what looks like a golden shiny door knob. Then they will walk over to the shed and place the door knob on the shed but it will remain shut and locked. To unlock the shed, place someone on top of the welcome mat at the front of the house, and they will pick up the key from under the door mat and walk over to the shed and unlock the shed. You will then receive a trophy for unlocking the shed. By opening the shed, you will be able to put out fires in the house, if there are any, because the fire extinguishers are in the shed.
Deciduous trees shed their leaves yearly. Evergreens such as magnolias and pines take more than a year to drop leaves and needles. And the drop tends to occur from the trunk outwards. So it's less dramatic, and less noticeable.
it just randomly appears in gotz construction shop i got it after i had the bird shed and animal shed
Yes, cats do shed their claws. It is not something that you usually see about to happen, you just find a claw on the carpet somewhere. Though it is normal, when you find a claw, do have a close look just to make sure that it IS just a shed piece and not the whole claw. The shed claw is just a hollow shell.
