Feeling Hot Hot Hot was originally a calypso tune, but this version was made very popular by Buster Poindexter (David Johanson of the New York Dolls) in the mid 1980's. It was a hit video on MTV, and supported Johanson's eponymous-titled album "Buster Poindexter."
(edit): Hi, I posted the question. Sorry, but the song I asked about is definitely not "Feeling Hot hot hot" by Buster whatsisname. The song is a fairly slow, atmospheric ballady thing with a female vocalist. It sounds a bit like T'Pau, for example. Very "80's" sounding, though it could have been 90's? But thanks for your reply anyway.
