On this website: -http://www.worship.co.za/tfh/tfh-2609.asp - the writer of "The Love Of God" "appears" to be Frederick H. Lehman as he held the copyright, and on this website - http://www.worship.co.za/tfh/tfh-2609.asp - I found it to say songwriters: Jim Bryson, Pete Kipley, Bart Millard, Nathan Cochran, Mike Scheuchzer, Robby Shaffer. HOWEVER, this website - http://www.tanbible.com/tol_sng/theloveofgod.htm - shows that the 3rd verse was written nearly one thousand years ago by a Jewish songwriter, and put on the score page by F.M. Lehman in 1917. This website tells a very interesting story.

Daniel Bashta wrote "God's Not Dead (Like a Lion)" made popular by the Newsboys. However, the Newsboys wrote the first verse of "God's Not Dead" in their version.See Related Links for lyrics to both versions.
