Men divert that innate drive (many attribute to influence of male hormones) into productive channels, which could explain why men are at the top of the totem pole in many categories: artists, inventors, engineers, etc. I don't recall any immortal Greek philosphers who were female. Those who channel that energy into violence and deviant behavior account for the vast majority of prison inmates.
