Why are most of the good bands like good Charlotte Fall Out Boy Paramore etc not nearly as famous as the cheap untalented artists like the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus?

they might be chaep or not but they are way better then the other bands you said and they are way talented so unless you know what you are talking about don't say anything!!!!
personaly i prefer good charlotte it's just that not many people hav heard about them wheres the others are permenently putting themselves in front of the cameras to show off whereas the good bands don't need to cause they are better
Marketing... Miley, Jonas brothers, Demi, and all them promoted/whore'd out their music through Disney Channel... Disney is largely followed by younger kids and the mix of cheesey t.v. shows/movies such as Hannah Montana, Jonas, Camp Rock, Sonny with a chance, with the music of these "stars" drew in the preteen/young teen crowd... of mostly girls, then Disney pushed it into dolls, 3D concerts, and all sorts of what not...
