this is a hard question because it really depends on the taste of the piano player. The steinway&sons grand pianos have a good reputation, but there are a lot of other brands such as Bösendorfer, Bechstein, Petrof you name it. A name that has to be mentioned is the brand of Fazioli grand pianos. They are hand made, very expensive, and are said to be among the finest grand pianos of the world.
