If the relationship was good or bad, there were times when there were good memories and loving ones, so it's tough to share your life with someone whether it's a few months or several years and have to move on. I consider it almost like a death of a spouse and one has to go through a grieving period. Hurting of the heart is hard whether you are super young or older. Most people have had a break-up in their life and it hurts, but then we mend and move on.
