The members of ABBA were offered $1 billion for a one time reunion tour but the offer was turned down by all members. They certainly didn't need the money. They just don't want to 'go back there'.
All four members of ABBA are rich enough to turn down $1 billion for a one-time 27 city world tour. Once you have that much money it looses importance.
Record sales figures are notoriously unreliable, but Universal Music presented ABBA in 2010 with an award for 375 million records sold. Among bands, that places them at #2, behind only the Beatles whose sales are variously estimated between 600 million and 1 billion. Among solo artists, Elvis Presley is also estimated to approach 1 billion, with Michael Jackson approaching about 750 million. (His estate claims 1 billion. ) Madonna and Elton John are both estimated to have sold about 300 million.
I had read somewhere that they turned down $1 billion dollars for a 20 city tour. But I have no way to comfirm this at all. It must have been substantial though. But the band members aren't in dire need of funds so it will take more than money to lure them out of retirement.

In 1980, ABBA's 'The Winner Takes it All' was #1 in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. Later, 'Super Trouper' was #1 in the above, plus Germany.

As a group, probably not. They just turned down $1 billion for a reunion concert tour so I doubt that any time soon they will be going anywhere as a group.
They were offered 1 billion dollars for a reunion tour but the members weren't interested. It is obvious that money was not their problem.
In 2003 Boeing had to write down a $1.1 billion loss on its Hughes acquisition, $1 billion on Jeppesen-Sanderson, and $1 billion in operational losses.

Abba's first-ever #1 single was "He Is Your Brother". It reached #1 on the Swedish radio play chart in 1972. The first Abba single to reach number 1 outside Sweden was "Ring Ring" (1973), which hit #1 in Belgium. "Waterloo" was Abba's third chart-topper and the first to reach #1 in an English-speaking country.
ABBA was a group for a decade. There is no way to say what song was #1 on any given Sunday.
Where do you think?IN SWEDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
