Metal has never faded. It is still going strong.
Yeah, any good metal bands dont go mainstream, they arnt sell outs, its real raw music. Most of todays mondern metal bands suck
Both above answers are true, but the genre as a whole is still immensely strong, immensely loud, immensely successful and immensely huge... read Metal Hammer if you don't believe it.
Anybody who simply listens to Metal or anybody from other genres of music would probably say the Metal is just music. Some arrogant idiots with no taste wouldn't even call it music, but i, being a true Metal Head through and through, and i speak here on behalf of all true Metal heads, know that Metal isn't just the most amazing and most beautiful music alive, it is with out a doubt a way of life. To belong to such a group of people, true Metal heads, is a honer to die for!
Just my opinion but I would say Heavy Metal.
Very much so. Go to just about any heavy metal site and you will probably find a large active community of passionate metal heads.
No, not all metal music is violent. Yes, some can be, but there is also metal music that isn't violent at all. Just as you can find variations of almost everything, there's also variations of metal.. You can even find Christian metal with Christian lyrics that has no violent within.. So, while there IS metal music with violence and/or suicidal lyrics etc; there is also some that has none of that. This is a common misconception although, due to certain popular metal bands... So no worries! :)
No. They mostly have Christian in all their music and it shows.(sort of) Basicly they have always had metal in their music, but each song also has a postive message in it wich is mostly the christian part. But it can also be what you make it you just have to find the positive message in the song.
For the sound to fade away is Diminuendo (Dim.) (that goes for loudness and speed). For just the loudness (dynamics) is a decrescendo (decresc.). For just speed, it is a ritardando (rit.)
The end to the statement is typically, just fade away. Therefore, old mops never die, they just fade away.
