It is not an uncommon occurence for the display to go out. The display on my JGC premium Infinity sound system went out around 125,000 miles. The display on my Grand Am went out not long after I bought the car new. What causes this? It's electrical, and power surges are suspected in decreasing the life of electrical components dramatically. Always turn your radio off before getting out of your car and be sure it's off before starting it. This will reduce the events of power surges when starting your car with the radio on.
I had the same questtion - since it is not a fuse, it is a light bulb, and because there is too much of a problem in removing the dash to get to the radion, I have just let it be.
If all fuses are good, the radio has failed.
A fuse
There are several companies that repair Jaguar radios for a flat rate. Just 'Google' Jaguar radio repair. If you want to keep the stock unit, or just replace the head with an aftermarket, you can get all the facias. What I want to find is a reasonable LCD clock repair for that car. Some 'highwaymen' in England will do this for $200, which is rediculous for a $5 part.
A clock is an instrument used to indicate, keep, and co-ordinate time.
Turning on the radio will not cause your car to vibrate. The only thing I can think of that would even be remotely possible is that the alternator is barely working enough to keep the battery charged. The extra load of the radio could possible cause the engine to miss. This is highly unlikely, but remotely possible. Have the charging system checked.
Is it an aftermarket radio?
you just close out of it
Clock and Radio, i had a small short on my tercel and i blew my radio and dashboard clock, now they are not working, trying to replace that fuse..
you have a short inside your radio.
keep the ignition key in the accessory or on position.
The code in clubpenguin for Clock Repair, I think it is the word "key" ! Keep working hard
Hi,If a clock falls from a wall it will probably stop ticking and you will have to fix it. But that's if it's really old. If you have a sort of new clock, It will probably keep working, you will have to hit it a few times. Thanks for asking!
In my 2001 CRV, the clock and radio fuse are the same. Funny, mine keeps blowing though... I keep taking it back to the dealer. They are trying to figure out why.
It allows for the required power to keep the memory working in the computers and radio, to keep any clocks accurate, etc......
The antenna must be simply disconnected.. if there is no signal for the station, the radio auto mutes to keep you from hearing static.. so yes.. remove the radio and yourll know what the antenna wire is and what i goes into.
You can't. Unless you figure out how to connect both of the to an external power supply.
"Punching the clock" means working, specifically working as an hourly wage-earner rather than as a salaried executive. It probably comes from the use of mechanical so-called "punch clocks" to keep track of when employees checked in and out of work.
