Oliver Twist is a crossover book, and is mostly suitable for adults and young adults or teenagers. There are simplified, or abridged versions for younger readers, however. I believe Usborne do a good one.

The object you're referring to is likely a "helicopter toy" or a "twist helicopter." When you twist the top part and release it, the blades spin rapidly, allowing it to fly upward. This simple toy demonstrates principles of aerodynamics and is often made of lightweight materials. It's popular among children for its fun and engaging flight action.

If the person with short fingers has one dominant allele for short fingers (S) and one recessive allele for long fingers (s), their genotype would be heterozygous (Ss). The person with long fingers has the genotype homozygous recessive (ss). When these two individuals have children, there is a 50% chance that the offspring will inherit the dominant allele for short fingers (Ss) and a 50% chance for long fingers (ss). Thus, there is a 50% chance of the children having short fingers and a 50% chance of having long fingers.
First, get 3 beads and hold them between your fingers. Then, twist it once, if it doesn't stay twist it twice. Do that six times and make sure to only leave one bead in between each "loop". On the seventh loop skip a bead on each side and twist. Then, get four beads and twist. And you are done, yay!

The removal of extra fingers in a child with polydactyly does not guarantee that they will not have polydactylous children in the future. Polydactyly can be inherited genetically, meaning that even if a child has undergone surgery to remove extra fingers, they can still pass on the genetic trait to their offspring. The likelihood of having polydactylous children depends on the genetic factors inherited from both parents.
