Why do girls like Zayn Malik?

I think that girls love him so much because he has made an image of himself, he has built up his reputation enough that girls have finally noticed him. Zac probably had the worst time at high school because he had the tightest jeans, slicked hair (propably makeup too) and just because he can sign (barely) girls are all over him like a wet dish cloth. So the answer is just purely because he is famous, rich and has so much hair gel and makeup that he actually looks half decent.
