i guess it's because bass guitars usually just pluck and their sound is not really heard much.
but i like it!
i think it gives a little edge to a song, if only people focus a bit more on it
i'd LOVE to learn it though.
Hope I helped answer :)
AnswerBecause they don't listen to enough Rush. Geddy Lee plays the bass like it was a guitar, not like it was a rhythm instrument. In my opinion you shouldn't play the bass like a guitar, which makes it kind of boring, but sounds better. Anyways, the coolest bass lines is from slap technique, Victor Wooten, Flea, etc...
Many people have different opinions on this. I personally believe the guitar is easier to play. It depends on what you are used to. :)
guitar
six stringed guitar and bass. hello people fricken midtown!
The guitar was never a loud enough instrument to play in front of say 100 people or so. Imagine singing in a bar full of people without a microphone.
It isn't, the piano is. 1 in every 12 people in the US plays piano.

Probably the guitar.
You tell people that you believe that the guitar is good, and that everyone should be pro guitar.
When people hear the word blues guitar they typically think of the four stringed guitar called a bass. This is a type of guitar but not technically a guitar because a guitar by definition is a 6-stringed instrument. Blues riffs can be played on any instrument. Guitar, bass, piano, saxophone, etc... So there is no specific instrument or in your case guitar that is for blues. The difference between a guitar and a bass? Because it was a hit and eventually people got tired of playing the game.

step 1. buy a guitar. (or any instrument!) step 2. take off all your clothes and accessories. step 3. hold your guitar or other instrument. step 4. press the letter D on your keyboard. step 5. your penguin will begin to play the guitar! (or the instrument you have in your hands!) step 6. go ahead and form a band! (if you go inside the light house to where the stage is, when you play the instrument, you can hear yourself playing the instrument along with any other people's instruments that they may be playing!)
The answer to this question depends on who's asking it. Some people will say it is, others will say it isn't. If you're looking for an instrument to start learning, just start trying some out. If guitar interests you, try renting or buying a cheap guitar to learn on. If you don't like it, try something else!
