Well, I wanted to ask the very same question but soon I realized why.
Why Tweens hate kpop (11-14): People at this age are really into the status quo and don't want to seem different so they call the Music 'weird' or 'stupid'.Another reason is that they don't understand it.
Teens (15-19): At this age teens believe that they are 'mature' so they like to listen to edgy stuff.They also may not understand it.
And so on....
People are people and what really counts is what you like not what others dislike,it's what YOU like :)
