Did you check to make sure your speaker wires were all connected properly? And there isn't anything touching the chassis of your car? Usually when the radio turns on but the music don't play is because
A. the speaker wires aren't connected properly or there is a short in one of the wires
B.your head unit is fried so bad that it won't play any sound
What you should do is check your wires behind your dashboard and if something looks astray you will know right away..
Also make sure there is no factory amp and if there is make sure u hook your blue white from radio to the blue of your car harness and that will turn on the amp
