Wishing stars, often associated with the belief that making a wish when seeing a shooting star can make it come true, are rooted in folklore rather than scientific fact. The phenomenon of shooting stars is caused by meteoroids burning up in the Earth's atmosphere, and there is no evidence to suggest that they can influence reality or fulfill wishes. Wishes often reflect personal hopes and aspirations, but achieving them typically requires effort, planning, and action rather than mere wishing.

Unfortunately, it's not that easy. If you could change the world just by wishing on a star, the world would be a lot different than it is. You'll have to do it the hard way, through action. Actions speak louder, and are more effective than wishes (with or without stars).
Im REALLY sorry to say.. no, they don't work. It's just a legend. And what you think are shooting stars, are just rocks that where hit by another plant and have corrupted the solar system, therefor to send it hurtling in a random direction. But don't worry, they hurtle upwards. They won't hit you.

"Wishing stars" are not real objects, but the term is often used to refer to shooting stars or meteors that streak across the night sky. People make wishes upon seeing shooting stars as a whimsical tradition.
Wishing Wells work by tossing a coin the Well and then make a wish or desire you have. Then you can't tell anybody your wish until it comes true.

No. At least wishing will not affect the outcome. If you want something and it is within the realm of possibility, then you might be able to attain it. Wishing will not help, though, only action will.
