Why is Avril Lavigne called a poser?

Punk music isn't supposed to be mainstream. Punk, in its essences, is against establishment and mainstream music is a foundation of the establisment.

*ADDED BY ANOTHER USER* - She is very emotional, different, and expresses that in her songs; especially on the Under My Skin album. I actually like her Best **** Thing album despite it being preppy. But what I don't like is she creates this hardcore image then she goes and smiles and poses for the cameras like a model.....No, that's not the message I get from her songs but that's how she likes to pose and act.

Or how about her 2010 guest appearance on American Idol....she was as giddy as a high school girl. What is this? So hardcore Avril and so emotional Avril; yeah except not, She was VERY closed minded and said no to like every constant and laughed at most of them. There were even points where she was the only judge that found it humorous. I love listening to her music, But I hate her public appearances because she's being a totally different person than in her music.
