It went off the air because clearchannel had two many urban stations that were in the area. 105.7 was competing with 97.1FM and 102.1FM. 107.5 really didn't have any competition so that's why they changed the format. Also 105.7Fm was down in ratings out of all the stations in the area. Even with syndicated shows like Steve Harvey and Micheal Baisden, and Keith Sweat it wasn't enough to keep the station that was only on for two or three years. The only way you can still hear Micheal baisden in the Greensboro area is if you live near 29 going towards reidsville, or 40 going towards Burlington you can still hear Raleigh stations which they are both on. All I can say do is keep up the petitions so they can have that format back again.
