Same reasons why all CD players might not work: lense is dirty or unaligned, its not receiving proper voltage, its broken, the motor is not spinning at proper speed, etc. There are no specifics for it being on a car.

I don't know the answer but it might help if you specify Chrysler or Toyota transmission. If you have a 6 cyl 93 Grand Cherokee without an overdrive button on the dash then its a Toyota transmission If you have the button it's a Chrysler unit. Good luck.

One might consider the best Cherokee car to be the newest model of Grand Cherokee. The 2011 model has addressed a lot of the issues that previous Grand Cherokee owners had with the car. Speak to Cherokee owners you may know or head to a dealership to test drive a car before making a final decision.

i have the fuse diagram for the 97 grand Cherokee limited..its prolly pretty much the same plot but i only have it via the book....if u tell me where the fuses are located. i can tell you what it might be...ill check back and see if u reply....hope i can help
Depends on which V8, a 4.7L might. 5.2, and 5.9L's wouldn't.

If the radio is not working on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport it might be a blown fuse. Try the CD player to see if that works. If the CD player works then it might be an antenna problem.
look under the jeep on the frame rail by the fuel tank if is not there it might be in the tank
