One of the uses of this word would be for person who is a non-Christian to be subjected to the Christian religion and/or does not subscribe to a specific church. In this case the answer would be NO with the caveat that Elvis could not attend church, once he became famous, due to the uproar it would cause. He had too much respect for the church to take the attention away from the Preachers/Choir. However, Elvis was deeply spiritual - read the bible daily - and researched/questioned/was curious about other religions along with respecting other religions.

Another use of this word pertains to someone who is unique and does not "conform" (i.e. agree, act like, modify their behaviors, etc.) to the masses/majority. In this case the answer would be YES in the sense that everything about Elvis was (wholly) unique.

From the minute he was born (as his identical twin brother who was born first died aka stillborn), to growing up poor, to having health problems as a child (i.e. Asthma, severe acne, sleep apnea, sleep walking, chronic insomnia, etc.), to the way he; dressed, combed his hair, thought, cared about others, loved his mother, treated everyone equally, put his faith in God, and the way he sang and performed.
