who perfected the violin? (major invented)
I'm not quite sure if you mean when was the violin made or...um...when was the violin. But anyways, I'm going to answer when was the violin made. It is probable that the violin (and its other cousins the viola and cello) were created during the mid-16th century in Northern Italy. Perhaps being the maker of the first true violins, Andrea Amati (ca. 1500-1577) was the patriarch of the Cremona school of violin making. Antonio Stradivari (1644-1737) and Bartolomeo Giuseppe Guarneri (1698-1744), brought the violin to its highest level both as a musical instrument and as a work of art.

Although similarly bowed instruments were cited in other countries, it is claimed that the violin was invented in Italy during the 16th century. Brescia in Italy was known to be the center of violin players and makers at that time.

Believed to be from Northern Italy in the 1600's.
The viola and violin family developed sometime around the 1500s in Italy from previous bowed instruments. The shape of viola and violin as it is today was not invented but was rather the result of an evolution of various forms, by different craftsmen.
I believe it came from Italy.
The original violin was created in Italy. So the violin is in fact an Italian instrument.
It was invented in the early 16th century.
