Is the radio playing? If so, it could be the bulb is burned out, or the grounding needs to be checked out.
Replace all the fuses even if they seem not blown it worked for me!
Turn your car on, so that the radio can be turned on and off. Then turn your radio off. After is it off, push the clock button and while holding clock, use seek to change the hour and tune to change the minutes.
Yes. If you remove the radio, the clock will simply show the current time and date. Beware, though, when I changed my radio, the clock's software went crazy and it stopped updating the clock. That means that when I turned the car on, it would show me the correct time, but then it wouldn't advance until I turned the car off and on again. This was fixed by unplugging the battery thereby resetting the clock's software.
i have a 95 Spirit and have the same problem. It is getting power to the radio (back lit, and tape player will rewind, but the clock display doesnt work, and the radio doesnt work (which sucks). Sometimes it will turn on when I start my car, but once the car is running, there is 0% chance of the radio coming on, even if I start banging around the radio. THis leads me to believe that is not a loose wire, but something in the ignition? Any input would be appreciated! I to had the same prob with the radio in a 90 Caravan which also carrys the same radio setup as the Dodge Spirit... its a short in the radio that aventually developes... theres nothing wrong with wiring... i took the radio setup out of my 92 Spirit (cause trans went out) and put it into the Caravan and still works fine, so its not a wiring prob... just a prob with the radio itself.
According to my uncle who is James Reynolds son."the alarm quit working on his wind up clock... so he rigged the key on the back of the clock to the volume knob on the radio. when the alarm started going off, the key would spin around and turn the volume up on the radio."
It sounds like a wire short some where.

The radio/CD player must NOT be turned on. Press the DISP button on the right-hand side until the the clock display starts flashing. Then press the Up or Down arrows to the left of the clock display to move the time forward or backward. These are the buttons you would use to change tracks or stations when the CD/radio is on. When done, press the DISP button again to stop the time from flashing.
check your fusees first, if it is an after market radio check your connections also check battery connections
I would suggest a Sony clock radio. You can get this for a very cheap price of 19 to 20 dollars. And it isn't to complicated it is just a very simple clock radio. I think it will be great for your kids.
about $20
More than likely a blown fuse.
No. The only thing would be the clock and radio.
a picture of the radio would be helpful
The best clock radio with a radio alarm is a SonyDual Alarm Clock ( ICFC273). Check it out its features are amazing. You would be able to purchase this amazing product at a Best Buy near you. Wake up to your favorite station or just go to best buy, walmart, target, or kmart.
i would check your fuses
Generally, it would cost the same as getting satellite radio for your car.
The main reason you would use a clock radio would be to be awoken at a specific time. Having the radio is useful for people who love to fall asleep or wake up to the sound of music instead of a loud beep. Having the telephone attached saves on the amount of plugs needed.
