yes. The family should be sued! They've done a lot of damage to become vastly rich!
People came to Rev. Ike's crusades for all sorts of ailments. Rev. Ike discovered Eddie Taylor at one of these meetings. As soon as this small, elegant man stepped to a microphone and opened his mouth, it seemed any problem you came with just 'melted away'. "Wonderful" "That's what He's done for me" " Bridge over troubled water", and dozens more. With Robert Jiggetts as his great organ/piano accompanist, the duo was phenomenal! Via radio when Rev. Ike is leading a song, one cannot but hear Eddie's distinctive tenor in the background. The soulfully melodious voice was SWEET! With this God-given talent blessing his ministry, Rev. Ike could not help but nick-name his dear friend " The Sweet Singer".
Ike Turner was a music producer and song writer. As of September 2014, his estimated net worth at his death was $500,000.
They aren't. A lot of people are actually very sorrowful about The Rev.'s death. Hardly anyone is happy, unless they are just trying to be mean.
No, they are still together. They put out an album on 27 July 2010 in memory of the Rev, and they went on tour after that.
Orange County Deputy Coroner Mitchell Sigal determined from toxicology tests that The Rev died of an accidental overdose of strong prescription painkillers and alcohol. His death was a result of acute polydrug intoxication due to combined effects of oxycodone, oxymorphone, diazepam/nordiazepam, and active intoxicant of alcohol. Sigal also noted that The Rev also had an enlarged heart, which was noted in the coroner's report as a "significant condition" that may have contributed to his death. An enlarged heart is commonly associated with prolonged drug abuse. A side note: Some have been saying that there is a theory that he Jimmy Sullivan died of stomach cancer. This is due to the top hit of the Google search "the rev cause of death" being for an actor, known as the Rev, that died of stomach cancer. That Rev was named David Sheppard, and was born in 1929. This was not the same person.

him personally...probably nothing now...he died this past year 2009. :)
Maybe not yet, but impending suits are probably coming. Rev. Ike left millions to many of his 'play children' while luring hard earned wash women's cash, in their hopes to be blessed in return. Many women and men died without ever living beyond their original state before contributing to his minitry. That's not fair!
can you be sued for hospital bills 13 years after the death of a parent in the state of NY?
Reverend Ike was born on June 1, 1935 and died on July 28, 2009. Reverend Ike would have been 74 years old at the time of death or 80 years old today.
NO. He was released 5 years after the death of Rev. Paul Jones.
There is no reason for them to be sued, they haven't done anything.
Wrongful death.
Heart surgeons have a high liability insurance rate due to the fact they are working with life and death daily. The don't get sued a lot but they do get sued some.
