From my experience as a player of five years, it will not. There may be more information about this from somewhere else, but if chemicals in toothpaste are safe enough for your mouth, they're probably safe enough for your horn. Most people even clean their mouthpiece with toothpaste.
yes you could but you might get chocolate inside the trumpet and in your mouthpiece making a big mess. So the smart thing would be to brush your teeth or not eat chocolate before you play a trumpet.
Good tone, hit all your notes, and don't mess up!!
There are these things on the end of the slides of the trumpet, near the bell, called spit valves. Press on it and blow fast air through the horn. The spit will then come out on to the floor. Make sure you clean it up! :) Do you play the trumpet? If so, how long have you been playing? Letting spit sit in your trumpet is not good for it. If will mess up the sound and tone. Make sure you empty the spit valves ASAP!
i played trumpit i sucked but if you play in a band your playing with like 30 other kids on the stage so you might not get as scared because if you mess up (whitch i constintly did on my trumpet) no one will hear you. if your playing solo then idk what to tell you
Personally I think the trumpet is louder, but I also play the trumpet so this answer might be a little bias. All the directors say the sax is but personally I think trumpets rock the house. Trumpets were specifically designed in the Middle ages to anounce the arrivall of an important event whereas the saxophone was created to give a melody that flows everywhere. Trumpets were made to be loud!
Oh, dude, chewing gum while playing your instrument can mess with your embouchure, which is like the fancy word for how you use your mouth to play. It can make your jaw tense up and mess with your airflow, so yeah, it's like trying to play the trumpet with a mouthful of peanut butter. Not a good combo, man.
It was a trumpet!!
