The origin of the Christmas carol we know as Silent Night was a poem that was written in 1816 by an Austrian priest called Joseph Mohr. On Christmas Eve in 1818 in the small alpine village called Oberndorf it is reputed that the organ at St. Nicholas Church had broken. Joseph Mohr gave the poem of Silent Night (Stille Nacht) to his friend Franz Xavier Gruber and the melody for Silent Night was composed with this in mind. The music to Silent Night was therefore intended for a guitar and the simple score was finished in time for Midnight Mass. Silent Night is the most famous Christmas carol of all time! I found the preceding paragraph concerning Silent Night on a web site while looking for the words to the music. As shown above, the music was written for a guitar, and played by Franz Grueber (as spelled in my Hymnal). Otherwise, Oberndorf truly would have had a silent night that Christmas eve in 1818.
'Silent Night' was written in haste in Austria, when the organ in the village church packed up. It was, I believe , designed to be played on the guitar. It's popularity spread, and was translated from the German to umpteen different languages across the world. It would probably have found its way here in 19th century.
Guitar was a favorite instrument of Josef Mohr, who wrote the words for "Silent Night." His friend Franz Gruber had written the melody in only a few hours, and the song was first performed on Christmas Eve in 1818. Although shrouded by myth, the fact that Mohr needed a new carol for his Christmas Eve service seems to lend credence to a simple arrangement based on chords to support the melody that Gruber had created, which would be ideal for guitar.
There are many different Christmas songs that are very popular with children. Some of the songs considered to be most popular are Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Coming To Town and Twas The Night Before Christmas.

Assuming it is winter and you are talking about the United States? Generally I see it as a Cold night, as there is no layer of clouds to keep the heat in... Bill actually we can see it on july-september we can see more star than you see on winter. pablo
An antonym for mighty is weak or ineffective.
It only causes clouds if the air cools to its dew point, and even then not always (although in that case you would get fog). For clouds to form, you need rising air, whereupon the air would be forced to cool to its dew point and condense if it were to continue to rise. This only happens when there is something forcing it to rise.
No. Venus does not have any satellites. That honor would go to Earth. The night sky of Venus would be completely dark as thick clouds would block the view of the stars and the other planets.
depends on what kind of clouds, if it were white clouds the sky would be white. if it were grey clouds it would be grey
The ideal weather condition for stargazing would be a clear not rainy night. There shouldn't be any clouds in the sky.
Clouds form when water vapor pressure exceeds to its saturation level! And then the vapor or water droplets... condensate. so clouds indicate that some kind of cooling and relating to condensate to what has happened= LOW AIR PRESSURE!!!!!!
