At this point, I would have your cooling system pressure tested at a reputable garage. This will pin-point the trouble. Don't throw dollar bills at this till you know for sure the real problem.
Tempo cannot get louder, because the tempo is the pace that the music is being played at. The dynamics and the pitchor the tone can become louder, but not the tempo.
Speeded,...duhh!That guy oblviuosly doesn't know because that's far from right, but I can't remember the actual name for it.
Hey man,Tempo primo is the term you are looking for. Tempo Primo means to return to the original tempo of the piece. However lets say for example that the tempo changes in sections B and D. If you want to return to the changed tempo in B (which is different from the ORIGINAL tempo or section A tempo), the term is known as a tempoGood luck!Mr.Impossible Chord
It is called Tempo.
it has a moderate tempo
Coolant could be low, causing the engine to overheat. There are also a number of things that could cause overheating and the engine to shut off. Plus the ford tempo was an unsound car from the get go/
Its prob the radiator fan. Or you are out of coolant.
one reason could be that your fuel pump is burning out. If you normally run your car with less than 1/8 tank of gas in a tempo you are allowing the fuel pump to overheat and since it is electrical it just shuts down for a minute till it cools off. The gas in the tank is what keeps the pump from overheating.
Hose failure, core plug failure, headgasket failure

it's leaking coolant. Needs to be replaced.
Since you have replaced these two parts, have you checked the water pump ? With age, the impeller on the pump or bushings become used enough to reduce the flow of coolant quite a bit. This will cause over heating due to lack of circulation. Also did you flush the system to make sure that there are no blockages ? And, check the upper and lower hose to make sure they do not collapse.
The Ford Tempo was introduced as a 1984 model to replace the Ford Fairmont. Then it was replaced by the 1995 Contour. That's a production run of 10 years. (1984-1994).
1994 was the last year the Tempo was made. You blew a fuse.
thermostat is stuck,or bad head gasket.check thermostat first it's cheep and easy
I have the exact same pproblem with a 1988 tempo, replaced the alternator and battery, still the alternator only reads 5 volts when running. Can't figure it out, do you know of any websites that would have a diagram of the alternator for a tempo?
The cooling system has probably been compromised with radiator solder seal or radiator sealant. After the vehicle is warmed up, use your hand to carefully feel the temperature of the air flow through the radiator. It should be warm all over. If there is a cold spot, then there are plugged portions of the core. Since it only overheats periodically, the cold spot may be relatively small. If you can detect the overheating event while driving, turn the heater on full to cool it down. If this trick works, you definitely do not have sufficient radiator function.
